Who will be caring for my pet?
My personally trained staff and I will be responsible for your pet’s care. I have over 30 years of successfully managing dogs, cats, and horses. Plus, I am a Certified Pet Sitter, through Pet Sitter’s International. I have also been trained in Pet First Aid and CPR. I am the first Fear Free Certified Professional in New Bern and the First Fear Free Certified Pet Sitter in NC. But most of all, I love animals and I feel it is a privilege to be entrusted with the care of my clients’ pets.
How often do you visit?
Our visits depend on your pet’s needs. Some pets just need a once a day potty break or walk. Other pets require more frequent visits due to their age or health. We will work out a schedule together to determine what is best for you and your pet.
Do you offer training?
I am not a trainer but I am experienced in successfully training my own pets and have taken many courses in behavior modification for both dogs and cats. Getting your dog to walk comfortably on a leash or resolving your cat’s litter box issues, I can help you with that.
Do you care for older pets?
They have a special place in my heart. I have cared for my own pets in their senior years with the ailments that come with age. And I have helped many clients care for their elderly pets. These devoted friends deserve a gentle touch in their later years and my team and I can provide that.
How do we get started?
We will come to your home to visit your pet. It is important that both you and your pet are comfortable with us. Once we’ve established a starting rapport, we’ll identify your specific needs and work out a schedule that will make both of you happy.
